The CordeValle Youth Golf Foundation, founded in 2004, is a non-profit organization committed to bringing the game of golf to youth of all income levels by directly supporting successful youth golf programs throughout Santa Clara County. The CYGF’s focus is to support established high school golf programs serving underserved communities existing programs, where youth who normally couldn’t afford to play golf will receive instruction, equipment, practice-and-play opportunities, and most importantly, mentors.
CordeValle is proud to host a tournament series aimed at supporting these youth golf programs in Santa Clara County. The tournaments offer golfers a chance to play one of the most revered championship golf courses in California, and the proceeds from these tournaments go back to the CordeValle Youth Golf Foundation.
The foundation’s mission is to expand access to the sport of golf for children of all income levels by directly supporting successful youth golf programs throughout the Santa Clara County. The goal is to provide youth with the opportunity to learn the sport, receive lessons and equipment, practice, compete, and build positive life skills.
The CYGF annually awards approximately $100,000 in grants to deserving programs. The foundation is funded through a $50,000 annual contribution from CordeValle Golf Club and raises an additional $50,000 per year through CordeValle’s public charity tournaments.
