Description:
The understated luxury of the clubhouse incorporates over 4,100 square feet of private, state-of-the-art meeting and conference rooms as well as a cigar room, bar, grill and restaurant, and can accommodate special event dining for up to 150 guests. The centerpiece of the resort is a 7,169-yard championship golf course, which boasts 360-degree unobstructed views. The resort also features a 5,000-square-foot full-service spa, fitness room, outdoor pool and  12,000-square-foot men's locker room.

Accommodations:
Accommodations feature fireplaces, room service and outstanding vistas of the fairways. Guests may select from three options for accommodations: 28 private, 700-square-foot Bungalows, five 1,100-square-foot hillside Villa Suites, and three 3,100 square-foot, 4-bedroom Fairway Homes.

BUNGALOWS  On a hillside overlooking the #9 fairway, the spacious, 750-square-foot Bungalows include everything from a wet bar to a flat-screen TV with DVD player. Just off an oversized suite, the bathroom features a separate shower and whirlpool tub with views of a private garden while an open-air patio offers glorious golf course vistas.

VILLA SUITES   Five vineyard-inspired, 1,100-square-foot Villa Suites nestled against the hillside offer the same luxurious amenities as the Bungalows, and more. The suite's sun-splashed patio extends from the living room all of the way to a separate bedroom, which features a bathroom with steam shower and jetted tub, plus another enclosed patio with an outdoor shower and a private whirlpool spa.

FAIRWAY HOMES   Three 3,100-square-foot Fairway Homes feature four master bedrooms grouped around a central area, which includes a beautifully furnished living room, butler's kitchen and dining room that can double as a meeting room. Each bedroom has its own separate entrance, garden patio, bathroom with jetted tub and private garden.

THE DINING ROOM  Enjoy contemporary, fresh American cuisine in a casual yet sophisticated atmosphere. The Dining Room offers innovative menus that take advantage of the region's fresh produce and on-site vineyard. Dishes evolve seasonally and naturally, creating bold flavor combinations and harmony with regional wines. Located in the Clubhouse, The Dining Room serves breakfast and dinner daily.

THE GRILL  Located next to the golf shop, The Grill offers casual dining in an outdoor patio setting. The Grill is open for continental breakfast, lunch, cocktails and a varied menu until sunset.

THE BAR  Unwind with soft piano music while enjoying appetizers. Overlooking the golf course, The Bar serves specialty drinks and a wide array of martinis that complement a wonderful selection of wines and international spirits.

Golf:
The jewel of CordeValle is its championship level golf course, which was designed by renowned Designer Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The focal point of the CordeValle Clubhouse and guest rooms, the 72 par, 18-hole golf course roams over 260 acres. The course, though challenging enough for expert players, is also suitable for less seasoned golfers. The immaculate course boasts 360-degree views unobstructed by any buildings, for a "core golf" experience. A topflight, 10,000-square-foot Golf Shop, golf instruction taught by PGA member professionals, and a professional caddy program are testaments to CordeValle's mission to provide a first-class golf experience, whatever your level of play.

Recreation:
The Spa at CordeValle offers specialty treatments including a Turkish steam room and vichy shower, and a full range of massage, facial and body treatments. Guests can also avail themselves of the fitness room, which is outfitted with Cybex cardiovascular and strength equipment; personal training and a swimming pool are also available. Men's and women's locker rooms each feature a steam room, jacuzzi, and lush private garden terrace and lounge. Guests may also choose to jog or hike the miles of trails in the nearby hills, punctuated with chaises for memorable rest stops. The celebrated Clos LaChance Winery supplies their exquisite vintages to CordeValle, and offers wine tastings, catered dining, and tours of the 85-acre vineyard to CordeValle guests.

Meetings & Events:
Conveniently located just off the spacious lobby of the clubhouse, the meeting area offers a variety of impressive choices including three boardrooms, multipurpose room and ballroom that can accommodate gala events up to 200 guests.

Along with dazzling indoor and outdoor space, CordeValle provides state-of-the-art technology to make every meeting successful. High-speed Internet access with multiple data ports is built into all the Clubhouse meeting and banquet rooms. A/V equipment includes LCD projectors and wireless microphones, audio amplifiers, satellite TV, VHS and CD/DVD players, all operated by professional technicians. Business services with conveniences like desktop publishing, fax and color printing are also available.

BALLROOM  Overlooking the fragrant Rose Garden, the Ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests for events ranging from an important business gathering to a gala theme dinner.

REDWOOD ROOM  The Redwood Room opens onto a private patio overlooking the panoramic hillsides, with flexible space that's ideal for any configuration.

BOARDROOMS   The Willow, Oak and Sycamore Boardrooms each feature a distinctive conference table designed for board meetings or private dinners and a patio with spectacular golf course views.

Climate:
San Martin enjoys moderate to cool temperatures year round, averaging in the 60s and 70s most of the year.

Design:
The architecture and ambiance of CordeValle carefully reflects the natural beauty of its surroundings with meticulously designed, California Craftsman-style structures. This organic, historically resonant design, created by Backen & Gillam, is carried throughout the resort, from the Clubhouse to the guest rooms to the Golf Shop. The interior design, too, takes its cue from the colors and textures found in the surrounding hills and mountains, and this rare melding of architecture and interior design serve to highlight, rather than detract from, views of the pristine golf course.
